Before You Begin
Before connecting your inbox, make sure:
- You have access to your Microsoft 365, Outlook, Hotmail, or Live account credentials.
- Your organization allows third-party app connections.
- You can complete multi-factor authentication (MFA), if enabled by your organization.
Step 1: Open Email Accounts
From your Automailer dashboard, click Email Accounts from the left sidebar.

Click the green Add New Account button at the top of the page.

Step 3: Choose Microsoft 365
In the Choose Your Provider window, select Microsoft 365, then click Continue.

You will be redirected to Microsoft’s secure sign-in page.
Sign in using your Microsoft account credentials. If your organization uses multi-factor authentication (MFA), complete the verification steps prompted by Microsoft.

Review the permissions requested by Automailer, then click Accept.
Once approved, your inbox will automatically connect to Automailer.
Some organizations restrict third-party applications from accessing Microsoft 365 accounts.
If you see a message requesting administrator approval, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to approve Automailer before continuing.
After the connection is successful, your inbox will appear on the Email Accounts page along with its connection status and email account health.

Important Notes
- Microsoft 365 and Outlook connections use OAuth authentication, which means Automailer never stores your Microsoft password.
- If your organization blocks third-party applications, administrator approval may be required before inboxes can connect successfully.
