Step 1: Open Inbox Placement

From the left sidebar, open the deliverability tools and click Inbox Placement.

Step 2: Create a New Test
Automailer will generate a list of seed email addresses across major email providers. These addresses are used to measure where your email is delivered.
Step 3: Send Your Test Email to the Seed List

You can send your test email in two ways. Both produce the same placement results.

Option A: Connected Mailbox (Automatic)

Select one of your connected sending accounts.

  1. Create a Test Name
  2. Select a connected inbox.
  3. Enter your subject line and email content.
  4. Select Test Email Providers and Schedule
  5. Click Send.
Automailer will automatically deliver the email to all seed addresses.
This is the fastest method and is best for testing a specific connected inbox.
Option B: Copy and Paste (Manual)
Use this option if you want to test an inbox that is not connected to Automailer.
  1. Create a Test Name
  2. Paste an Email you want to test
  3. Enter your subject line and email content.
  4. Select Test Email Providers and Schedule
  5. Click Create Test
Step 4: Read Your Results
Once the seed inboxes receive your email, Automailer will show where it landed for each provider:
Inbox — delivered to primary inbox (best result)
Spam / Junk — filtered into spam folders
Promotions / Other — delivered but placed in secondary tabs
Important Note
For the most accurate results, always test using your actual sending inbox and final email content.

Even changes to the subject line, email content, or sender address can affect inbox placement.
